Huntsman TioxideProject ICEHuntsman Tioxide's Greatham Plant production volume was increasing but at significant efficiency cost. As part of a company wide Transform Programme, Huntsman Tioxide awarded K Home International the contract to provide engineering design and construction management services to Project ICE (Improved Chlorinator Efficiency).Chlorinator efficiency had been drifting downwards as the plant production rate increased, but Project ICE has now restored chlorinator efficiency to a world-class standard as well as improving resistance to sintering problems, allowing the plant to operate on lower grade feedstock.KHI Involvement:
